Cloud Quickstart
Sign up for Fleetbase Cloud, complete onboarding, and get to your first driver, order, and API call.
Cloud Quickstart
Fleetbase Cloud is the fastest way to get started. Your environment is provisioned and pre-configured during signup — no infrastructure or setup required. This guide walks you through every step of the onboarding flow with screenshots, then covers what to do first once you're in.
The cloud onboarding flow has five top-level steps: Create Account → Verify Email → Choose Deployment → Configure Workspace → Start Your Trial. The Configure Workspace step has seven internal substeps that personalise your console.
Create Account
Go to console.fleetbase.io/onboard and fill in your full name, email, password, organisation name, phone number, and country. Your organisation is created at this step — there's no separate setup afterwards.

Verify Email
A six-digit verification code is sent to the email address you signed up with. Enter the code on the verification screen. If you don't see the email within a minute, check spam, or use Resend verification email at the bottom of the form.

Choose Deployment
Pick how you want to run Fleetbase. Cloud (SaaS) is fully managed and ready in minutes — that's the path this guide covers. Self-Managed deploys to your own cloud or on-premise infrastructure (see the Self-Hosted Quickstart for that flow).

Configure Workspace
A seven-substep wizard personalises your console — dashboard layout, recommended integrations, default presets — before you ever log in. Each substep takes a few seconds; you can change every answer later from settings.
Company
Tell us about your organisation: company size and geographic focus. These shape default dashboard layouts and recommended integrations downstream.

Industry
Select your primary business vertical — trucking, food & grocery delivery, courier, e-commerce, healthcare, waste management, container operations, government/military, or other. The industry choice unlocks vertical-specific goal options and integration recommendations on the next substeps.

Goals
Choose the operational objectives that matter most for your business — route optimisation, real-time tracking, proof of delivery, dispatching, fleet management, and so on. Goals refine the integration list and dashboard preset shown on later substeps.

Integrations
Connect the tools and services you already use. The list is filtered by your industry and goals, so you see relevant options first — telematics (Flespi, Samsara, Geotab), routing (OSRM, Valhalla, VROOM), maps, payments, comms, ERP, WMS, and more. You can search the full catalogue or come back to this anytime.

Selected integrations are highlighted as you tap them.

Dashboard
Pick a dashboard preset. Presets pre-load relevant widgets — KPI cards, the live map, recent orders, fleet status — based on your industry and goals. You can rebuild the dashboard from scratch or add widgets later from the dashboard editor.

Setup
Add a first driver and a first vehicle if you have the details handy. This isn't required — you can come back to Fleet-Ops → Drivers and Fleet-Ops → Vehicles anytime — but seeding one of each makes the guided tour land more naturally on real data.

Review
A final review screen summarises every choice you've made. Confirm to apply the configuration, or use Back to revise any answer.

Start Your Trial
Pick a plan to activate your 7-day free trial. Annual is discounted by 20% compared to monthly. A payment method is required to start, but your card isn't charged until the trial ends — and you can cancel anytime from billing settings.

Once payment is confirmed, your workspace is provisioned and you're redirected to the console.
Take the guided tour
When you first land in the console, a guided tour starts automatically. It walks you through the interface and then through creating your first driver and dispatching your first order. Complete it to get real data into the system, or skip it — it's available anytime from Help & Tours in the console menu.
First things to do
Once you're in the console, these are the three most useful things to get done:
-
Create an API Key — Go to Developer Console → API Keys and generate your first key. You'll need this to connect any external system, app, or integration to your Fleetbase instance.
-
Add your first driver and get Navigator — Go to Fleet-Ops → Drivers to add your driver roster. Each driver uses the Fleetbase Navigator mobile app to receive orders, update status, and submit proof of delivery — share the download link from the driver profile.
-
Create your first order — Go to Fleet-Ops → Orders and dispatch a delivery. Assign it to a driver and watch it move through the status lifecycle on the live map in real time.
