Balance Sheet
View your organization's financial position — assets, liabilities, and equity at a specific point in time.
Balance Sheet
The Balance Sheet is a snapshot of your organization's financial position at a specific date. It answers the question: what does your organization own (assets) and what does it owe (liabilities and equity)?
Navigate to Ledger → Reports → Balance Sheet.

The Accounting Equation
A balance sheet always satisfies:
Assets = Liabilities + EquityIf your books are in balance, total assets will equal total liabilities plus equity. The report shows a Balanced indicator — green when the equation holds, red when it doesn't.

Total Equity
Verification
The report also shows the combined total of liabilities and equity for direct comparison:
Total Assets = Total Liabilities + Total EquityIf these do not match, there is an accounting error — missing journal entries or an unbalanced entry.
Setting the Report Date
Navigate to Ledger → Reports → Balance Sheet.
Set the As of Date — the balance sheet reflects account balances at end of that date.

What Wallet Liabilities Mean
The Wallet Liability Pool plus the auto-created per-wallet liability accounts (WALLET-{wallet_uuid}) represent the total balance owed to all wallet holders. They increase when wallets are credited and decrease when payouts are made. On the balance sheet, this appears as a liability — your organization owes this amount to its wallet holders.
